Lately I've been spoiling myself silly--crazy silly. In the past month I've purchased myself an iPhone (and accompanying 2-year contract), Hilary Hahn's entire CD discography, Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard Upgrade, Adobe Creative Suite CS3 Design Premium, a 500 GB external hard drive, Sennheiser iPod headphones with an extra recessed iPhone connection adapter, and numerous buy-ins at the local poker room. Usually when I drop down the bucks for such things I feel a sense of guilt, but as of now I feel none of that. As of now I feel like all of these nonessential things that I don't really need, have made my life a little bit better. Which, when I think of it, is kind of pathetic. :P
I am in LOVE with Brandi Carlile's new song. She's been singing this a lot while on tour this year. I can't wait for her to get into the studio and record it for her third album!
